Introduction
The world is made up of many diverse habitats; Tropical Rainforests, Arctic Tundra, African Grasslands or Savanna, Oceans, Mountains, Forests, Deserts, and Wetlands. Within each habitat live all kinds of animals. The classes of animals that are found in most, if not all of these habitats, are mammals, amphibians, birds, fish, and reptiles.
"Your habitat is your home, your school and your neighborhood and other places where you frequently spend your time. All living things rely on their habitats, but climate change is affecting where creatures, plants, and trees can live. This is important since the long term survival of these creatures depends largely on whether or not they can adjust to changes in their environment. Melting glaciers, wildfires and droughts all threaten the survival of wildlife. While humans can adjust to global warming in their habitats, creatures in the wild don't have this same advantage."
